Qualcuno ha un'idea di come possono essere state realizzate in dettaglio le dune nella foto ? E il laghetto ?
Io penso che per le dune sia stata utilizzata tela di yuta e scagliola mentre per il laghetto cera trasparente applicata su fondo colorato. Se avete già sperimentato qualcosa di simile sarebbe interessante un passo passo o richiamarne qualcuno già pubblicato nel forum

Un buon efetto l'ottieni utilizzando al posto della sabbia, che ha un diametro un po' grosso rispetto le statue, la terra refrattaria usata in edilizia per rifare e sigillare l'interno delle caldaie.
E' facilmente reperibile in qualsiasi magazzino di materiale edile.
Se lo si impasta diventa anche facilmente modellabile e una volta asciutto mantiene il colore. |

Sorry, I can't write in Italian, but I hope that some can understand my English.
I've used two methods for sand dunes. Living a few blocks from the ocean, there is a lot of sand here but it's too course/thick for use in a miniature scene.
Method 1: Base is high-density builders foam cut and then sanded smooth. Then it's painted with sand-color latex paint. While paint is still wet, sprinkle on very fine sand. The fine sand is found in hobby stores. It's used by people who make delicate sand paintings. The hobby store sells it in small plastic bags with an amount that is perfect for working in miniature scale. It's not like getting the 10-pound bags of sand at the home improvement store.
Methold 2: Base is high-density builders foam cut and then sanded smooth. Paint with sand-color latex paint. Next, spray with stone-fleck paint. These are cans of spray paint that are sold at the builders supply stores and home improvement stores and hobby shops. You can get various colors of stone in browns and grays, but they also have tan and off-white stone colors. That's what I use as a very thin topping for the latex paint. When the stone-fleck paint dries, it feels like stone -- it has that texture. It looks like sand. It's on there permanently and won't flake off.

Vi ringrazio per i numerosi suggerimenti.
L'idea che mi sono fatto è, se siete daccordo, di creare una base leggera con schiuma di poliuretano per formare i dislivelli e sulla quale stendere, una volta sagomata, della segatura impastata con vinavil diluito.
Una volta asciutta, uno spolvero di segatura o di semola |

giusto!! crea la base già con i dislivelli colorala simile alla sabbia e poi vinavil e sabbia vera. |

ti conviene ispirarti a quelle vere.......
CMQ una delle soluzioni può essere una struttur in gesso modellata e poi colorarlo con le terre color sabbia dandogli molti strati in modo da simulare anche la sabbia una volta essiccata.,.,., |

anche per me le dune sono troppo marcate
come se sono state fatte col poliuretano e ricoperte di sabbia
mentre per il laghetto quel prosarà stato fatto con la resina

Io 3 anni fa le ho realizzate di sabbia semplice e tanta pazienza, sono le sfortunatamente con il passare dei giorni si appiattiscono e perdono molto...Queste sono in foto mi sembrano rigide... |
